Creative Lead, Brand Design

• Act as a Creative Leader on the Brand Design team, setting an example and generating original and highly crafted creative grounded in thoughtful insights.
• Lead the development of evergreen assets that shape our brand visual language - including overall art direction, expressive graphic treatments, color and typographic application, illustration, photo/video, and motion.
• Partner with Design Leadership to push the continual development and evolution of the AllTrails visual brand, defining how we show up in the world at scale.
• Concept and execute global integrated campaigns across various channels and surfaces including digital, social, lifecycle, OOH, film, experiential, and in-product.
• Work in collaboration with Creative Leadership, marketing leads, and cross-functional stakeholders to create campaigns that build love for the AllTrails brand and product.
• Make design decisions based on a deep understanding of the project's goals, audience insight, and business context.
• Lead design exercises, workshops, and drive internal alignment on principles and ideas that elevate brand design at AllTrails.
• Think deeply about business problems to develop creative ideas that translate into successful executions.
• Contribute to a respectful and collaborative team environment that cultivates a culture of creativity.

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience leading global brand campaigns, preferably for a SaaS company, app, or digital product.
• Experience leading projects in a senior creative role such as a Design Lead, Art Director, or Senior Designer.
• Extensive experience in concepting and designing creative across multiple mediums, formats, environments, and surfaces.
• Strong execution of visual design fundamentals, including typography, layout, color, form, and composition.
• Outstanding portfolio demonstrating crafted design work and success in building unique creative that resonates with audiences.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate and sell creative decisions and manage feedback from stakeholders.
• Exceptional conceptual and brainstorming skills, with a blue-sky approach to idea generation.
• Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to self-edit, iterate, test ideas, and handle feedback.
• Experience collaborating with copywriters, designers, and marketing strategists to develop campaigns and brand storytelling.
• Experience at a fast-paced remote-first company where autonomy and proactiveness are key.
• A highly developed aesthetic sensibility and taste, with a deep knowledge of design trends and culture.
• Deep knowledge of Figma, Adobe CC, and other creative platforms and tools.
• Strong grasp of design systems and deploying flawless creative at scale.
• Empathy for the customer and creative team members.

Pay range: $125K - $160K
