CafeMedia is seeking a versatile designer who is comfortable in both digital and print design. This is an individual contributor role for someone with a good eye for design, an understanding of the user, and the ability to translate business stakeholder requests into concepts. As the only designer on the team, s/he should be a motivated individual who can handle tight deadlines and is up on the latest trends in web and mobile design.


  • Ability to design collaboratively with key stakeholders including Product, Marketing, Sales, and the Dev Team
  • Produce advertising ad units including standard IAB units and high impact ad units
  • Mock templates for advertising opportunities
  • Work closely with Product to deliver UI/UX designs
  • Deliver conference material including digital site design, signage and lanyards
  • Contribute in the creation of new concepts for designed graphics, templates, infographics, and newsletters
  • Ability to package design assets for final deliverables
  • Manage relationships with 3rd party vendor print shops
  • Stay current on design and web trends and communicate best practices


  • 2-5 years of professional design experience
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • High attention to detail and visual consistency
  • Solid understanding of Digital and Social platforms along
  • Understanding of UI, UX, and web design fundamentals
  • Portfolio or samples of work showing strong visual design skill, UI/UX work, or advertising work
  • Knowledge of and experience designing across multiple platforms (mobile, desktop, tablet, apps, video, print)
  • Strong branding experience
  • Team player that’s able to communicate their visions
  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS and prototyping would be a bonus
  • Experience designing with standard angular material is a plus
