We’re seeking full-time UX Designers to add to our team. As a UX Designer, you will be an advocate for the customer by conducting, sharing and utilizing qualitative and quantitative user research. You use this research to create new solutions and improve on existing ones–testing and validating along the way. Working alongside our talented UI Designers, you will provide research and prototypes to help translate the needs of the customers. As a contributing member of a thematic product team, you will collaborate with a product manager, UI designer, developers, QA, and stakeholders to solve Build.com’s customer needs.
As the UX Designer, you will have an understanding of our various personas, analytical skills, in-depth awareness of the problems our users are facing and an ability to create innovative, user-friendly solutions. Utilizing your knowledge, you will make the user experience intuitive so that attracts and retains customers. You will simplify home improvement for our users across your thematic area on all devices–Responsive Web and Mobile App. As much as we love unicorns, we don’t expect you to be a combined expert in UX, UI, and Product Management. What we do expect is that you understand how all three are fundamentally crucial to the overall success of our product teams.
