Work with engineers on key technical decisions, break ties, and escalate short-term decisions that may have long-term impacts on the product and user experience.
Maintain alignment between product and engineering and coordinate multiple work streams across the platform, application, and integration teams with a focus on achieving high-quality, on-time deliverables.
Define and track engineering performance metrics while upholding a culture of quality, clarifying scope of work, ensuring clear accountability, and creating learning opportunities.
Set up teams for success by helping define organizational and individual career paths, unifying the team behind company goals, and encouraging collaboration across teams.
Serve as a reliable, proactive partner for all functions throughout the company, including product, design, sales, marketing, people, and operations.

Experience

Strong expertise in building data products with complex backend logic and at least 10 years of hands-on backend development experience.
Ability to be a player-coach, engaging with code and managing team processes.
Experience in leading engineering organizations and providing technical guidance and mentorship.
Advocacy for engineering culture of proactivity, engagement, teamwork, and kindness.
