Manager, Software Engineering (Marketplace Performance)

• Set technical strategy for the team on a year-long time scale.
• Collaborate across teams in the product development lifecycle.
• Act as a force-multiplier through definition and advocacy of technical solutions.
• Take ownership of team’s operations and availability.
• Foster a culture of quality and ownership by setting code review and design standards.
• Develop talent by providing feedback and guidance.

• 8+ years of experience designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale using languages like Python or Kotlin.
• Extensive experience with highly available distributed systems using technologies like AWS, MySQL, Spark, and Kubernetes.
• Experience developing consumer experiences using UI frameworks like React.
• 2+ years of experience working in Ad Tech or related platforms.
• Experience delivering major features or system components in a system.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Requires either equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Pay range: $204K - $290K
