About the team, you are going to join
We in the Wysiwyg-Docugen team provide two of the core components of the BRYTER software: the Wysiwyg (What You See Is What You Get) rich text editor, which allows our customers to add and customize any content of their BRYTER solution. And Document Generation, which serves to auto-fill customer-specific templates, such as contracts or forms, and render them to digital documents, such as PDF, for the end-users.
We are looking for a mid/senior front-end engineer to support us. The focus is to not only improve the user experience when authoring documents but also enable new features while making sure the users of the BRYTER product can work smoothly and effectively.
If that sounds exciting to you, we’d love to talk!
What you will do
👩💻Work on improving and extending our Vue.js and TypeScript-based single-page apps.
📃 Enable users building BRYTER modules with rich-text content and document generation, to get real-time feedback on how their solutions perform.
🚀 Work closely with dev-ops and the quality assurance team to frequently deploy features and code improvements to production.
🎨 Decide and direct how content is created, formatted and translated, and making sure it works for all users, no matter the device or locale.
🔨 Keep the high-quality standard of our codebase by refactoring continuously, keeping tests green and upgrading our dependencies to the latest versions.
🗺 Help us define our long-term roadmap and shape our team and our way of working.
What we are looking for
🏢 You have worked on non-trivial frontend projects before. You understand the challenges of writing process- and interaction-heavy applications for power users and feel comfortable navigating and extending such a big system. You are curious about diving deep into a complex SaaS project and understanding both the challenges and the required rigor to maintain such a system.
🔨 You put in the effort and rigor to keep a code-base in good shape, be it removing code that does not fit the requirements any longer, or adding a regression test for a quirky bug you encountered.
✅ Writing automated tests is not a chore for you but a key component to building a high-quality product. You know how to write maintainable tests of all levels and you have experience with both functional as well as performance tests.
We love working with people who are eager to learn, so please apply even if you haven’t worked with some of our choice frameworks or technologies before.
Tech stack & tools we're working with
Our main technologies are TypeScript and Vue.js. We're versioning, integrating, testing and deploying our code using GitLab. The application runs on a Kubernetes cluster, integrated with cloud-hosted services for databases, file storage and more.
We're using a Merge-Request workflow straight to our main branch and deploy to production at least twice a week. We are improving in this area and working towards a continuous deployment approach.

What's important to us
Watch a webinar of our Chief Product Officer, where he shares some of the practices and rituals that make our remote-first working culture special.
We hired you because we trust you. We as founders and we as co-workers.
We trust each other to openly communicate our thoughts, make fast decisions and contribute to an environment that encourages others to do so. Our default-to-yes principle empowers everyone to be a leader and to take ownership.
We trust you because you are awesome, and we want to work with awesome people but also because we believe you have the knowledge and expertise to do great things at BRYTER.
We want you to take ownership and agency quite simply. If you sense something which can be improved, we expect you to follow this feeling and just do it. We empower everyone to make decisions.
We support you in your individual journey to grow. Not only by providing challenging work, people around you who you can learn from, but also through a personal conference and training budget.
We strive for collaboration and co-creation. We embrace that when you want to get something done you just reach out to your co-workers and ask for help, advice, feedback, and support.
We believe in the positive impact of cross-functional collaboration where everybody works together in a structured way (that prevents chaos). We call these cross-functional groups our Units.
We leverage this by working together in a Network Organization that is connecting competence (not a hierarchy of authority) and where information flows fluidly throughout the organization.
We are team players and we believe in the power of cross-functional units. We make ownership and processes explicit in order to improve continuously. We have practices and rituals in place that help us reflect and improve continuously.
We are here to solve customer problems. We strive to be a human centered organization and see our customers as humans and partners. We help them to do their job better and help them to scale their services by using our product.
In everything we do we maintain clear sight of the customer. We work based on small customer feedback loops and take end-to-end ownership: customer problem - solution - impact (- reflection - learning). This tailored approach allows us to continue being a successful company.
This enables us to respond fast and deliver new customer value frequently.
Curious? Please apply
We encourage everyone to apply, even if they feel they might not fulfill all listed requirements fully. We'd like you to give us a chance to evaluate your skills and experience. We're curious to hear from you and learn what you believe you'd bring to the role and the team.
For people living with disabilities, chronic illnesses, or neurodiversity, adjustments, and support can make a decisive difference in the interviewing process. Please let us know if you need any accommodations (specific tools, more time, additional breaks, etc.) and feel comfortable disclosing this, and we'll do our best to meet them.
