Senior AI Engineer, Product Engineering

• Own API product direction by defining the roadmap for core search APIs and adjacent surfaces.
• Lead solutions for strategic accounts by partnering directly with founders and engineering leaders of top customers.
• Translate customer conversations into concrete product bets, writing specs, and prioritizing the roadmap.
• Be the technical face of the product, running technical deep-dives and creating important documentation.
• Set the technical bar in collaboration with engineering on API design and performance.
• Stay in the code by prototyping new API primitives and shipping production code.

• 5+ years of experience spanning engineering and product roles, specifically with developer-facing or API products.
• Ability to write production code.
• Deep familiarity with AI agent and LLM ecosystem.
• Track record of owning ambiguous, high-stakes problems end-to-end.
• Strong customer instincts and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Comfort with the reality of an early-stage startup environment.

Pay range: $200K - $250K

• Hubs in San Francisco and New York City with regular in-person gatherings.
