Senior Frontend Engineer

• Help design and build user-facing applications that improve access to services for Veterans and their families.
• Work with modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Follow federal accessibility standards.
• Collaborate with backend, design, and product teams.
• Build responsive, component-based UIs.
• Consume and integrate with APIs.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React preferred).
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with state management tools such as Redux.
• Experience consuming and integrating with APIs.
• Proven track record diagnosing and resolving production issues.
• Familiarity with the VA Design System, USWDS, or other government design standards is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage dependencies, and deliver in complex environments.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

• Bachelor's degree required.

Pay range: $115K - $145K
