Senior Software Engineer, Control Plane

• Design, develop, and maintain control plane services shared by different deployment models.
• Contribute to the Unified Control Plane by delivering a single implementation that serves both SaaS and self-managed deployments.
• Own the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of the services built.
• Build for multi-tenant SaaS and customer-operated models across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Provide considerate and timely review of peers' pull requests and design proposals.
• Continuously improve engineering processes, tests, and systems.
• Collaborate globally with team members and operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide exceptional customer support for platform users.
• Assist with the React and TypeScript-based Portal UI when needed.

• Prior experience developing distributed systems.
• Extensive software development experience with Java.
• Cloud infrastructure architecture and orchestration experience.
• Experience building and operating backend services like APIs and lifecycle management.
• Hands-on adoption of AI coding tools and agents.
• Experience with software engineering and design best practices.
• Motivation for software craftsmanship improvement.

Pay range: $185K - $215K
