Sr. Manager, Engineering - Solution Experiences (Remote Eligible)

• Manage one or more related teams of 8-12+ software engineers across a product area or emerging pillar.
• Guide and mentor team members on architecture and best practices while reviewing and coaching on project designs.
• Analyze feature sets for market effectiveness and implementation efficiency.
• Create strong partnerships with product management and other business areas.
• Lead cross-team technical efforts and address technical challenges.
• Plan and deliver end-to-end projects with high technical ambiguity and cross-team dependencies.
• Mentor and coach individuals and managers, identifying and growing potential successors.
• Hire exceptional engineering talent and grow teams strategically.
• Set yearly and quarterly technical and operational goals for product area.
• Communicate effectively to executives and non-technical stakeholders.
• Create repeatable processes for measuring and improving team efficiency.
• Champion AI adoption in software and product development lifecycles.

• 10+ years software development experience
• 4+ years previous management experience
• Strong background building and deploying AI/ML features relevant to search.
• Experience with Vector Search, semantic search implementation, and NLP techniques.
• Experience productionizing and scaling ML models.
• Experience building scalable, high available customer-facing cloud applications.
• Experience building or managing full stack teams is a plus.
• Experience with OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, or Solr preferred.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• AWS or other Cloud experience.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis.

Pay range: $205K - $257K
