Junior QA Analyst

• Create end-to-end test plans, execute them, and manage all activities to ensure objectives are met
• Test solutions for functionality, performance, reliability, stability, and compatibility
• Promote and enforce awareness of information security practices including malware protection and password security
• Identify and report security risks impacting information assets
• Evaluate data storage, processing, or transmission for compliance with privacy standards
• Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle
• Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of deliverables
• Perform backend database testing in Microsoft SQL environment
• Identify test requirements from specifications and design test coverage plan
• Develop and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts
• Execute and evaluate manual test cases and report results
• Facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members
• Isolate, replicate, report defects, and verify defect fixes

• 2+ years of hands-on QA testing experience
• Expertise in database testing in Microsoft SQL Server and UNIX environments
• Ability to write clear, concise detail-oriented test plans/cases
• Ability to understand and create test plans
• Liaison with development, project management, and customer support
• BS or BA degree preferred

Pay range: $45K - $55K
