Performs a broad range of compensation and benefits administration functions across the employee life cycle. Supports the Company’s strategic total reward initiatives to drive employee and business performance. Provides quality service with a high degree of customer satisfaction, expertise and timeliness. Works cross-functionally with multiple internal departments on HR related issues and acts as a subject matter expert on compensation and benefits issues. Takes ownership of manager/employee requests for HR support ensuring that issues are resolved with a high degree of customer focus.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Acts as a role model always; adheres to high ethical standards
  • Assists in educating new hires about benefits
  • Maintains current and accurate employee information in benefit carrier systems
  • Processes and administers all leaves of absence and disability claims
  • Oversees the data transfer process between the benefit enrollment system, third-party vendors, and the HRIS/Payroll systems.
  • Conducts audits related to benefit plan enrollment and operations to ensure data integrity
  • Advises on job codes
  • Assists with compliance efforts and projects including, annual Open Enrollment, ACA Reporting, Form 5500 filing, nondiscrimination testing and annual pay review process
  • Analyzes claim trends with benefits brokers and identifies solutions for a cost-effective benefit program
  • Reconciles monthly benefits invoices
  • Interacts with insurance carriers and benefits brokers to resolve issues relating to claims and/or bills
  • Assists with the design and development of job descriptions
  • Conducts salary surveys and job benchmarking to address internal equity issues and ensure market competitiveness
  • Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations

  • 2-5 years relevant compensation and benefits administration experience
