DeFi Analyst

• Contribute to CoinTracker’s DeFi coverage to position CoinTracker as the crypto tax solution with best in class DeFi coverage.
• 90% of DeFi transactions across all supported blockchains automatically have the correct category automatically applied.
• Research and scope 5 new blockchain integrations (non-EVM). Pair with an engineer to ship these integrations.
• Develop and ship 1 new EVM integration.
• Proactively identify the top dapps and smart contracts that users are interacting with and add support for those dapps to automatically categorize transactions in CoinTracker.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to prioritize improvements to enhance tax accuracy for various DeFi scenarios.

• Able to clearly talk about the details and also zoom out to the bigger picture.
• Ability to view complex transactions on a block explorer (Etherscan and Solscan) and translate them into a clear story (what did the user do?).
• Familiarity with EVM and one other smart contract compatible blockchain such as Solana.
• Ability to use the current DeFi coverage tools to solve a variety of DeFi use cases and propose specific product improvements for additional use cases.
• Ability to analyze onchain data with analytics tools such as Dune and/or Flipside.
• Familiarity with a query language such as SQL, postgreSQL, Dune SQL, etc.

Pay range: $112K - $140K
