  • Develop the playbook for identifying, evaluating, negotiating, and implementing deals
  • Develop optimal strategy and prioritization for business growth
  • Operationalize execution of business development deals and implementation
  • Source and close complex, unique deals
  • Collaborate internally and externally to support Varo's growth
  • Identify new lines of business in deals with third parties
  • Collaborate with engineering for implementation of deals
  • Build consensus on new business cases and go-to-market strategies

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in business development or commercial strategy
  • Experience with high-stakes, analysis-driven negotiations
  • Track record of sourcing, negotiating, and implementing large-scale deals with multi-billion dollar companies
  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills including proficiency with financial models
  • Experience in product roadmap definition and leading technical integrations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
  • Excellence in customer insight, critical thinking, and product innovation
  • Customer-first mindset in decision-making
  • Proficiency with SQL

Salary and Perks

Pay range: $200K - $240K

  • Eligible for bonus, equity, and competitive benefits
