MedeAnalytics is seeking a Sales Director for the Health Plan Market to join our team. Reporting to the Vice President, Sales, this position is accountable for driving the achievement of sales goals of the organization through his/her own direct sales efforts.

The Sales Director will be responsible for selling a portfolio of MedeAnalytics’ products and services to executives at healthcare payer organizations. In this role, this individual will be charged with developing and managing new and existing accounts and be able to sell within all levels (especially C-level) of an organization utilizing solution selling techniques to identify business needs, develop customized solutions, and measure business problems.

The Sales Director will join the revenue generation team, participating significantly in the strategic growth plans to further penetrate the healthcare payer marketplace across North America. He/she will be expected to develop meaningful and productive relationships with both internal colleagues and a wide array of leaders at healthcare payer organizations across the assigned accounts and territory.

The individual will need to be a highly motivated, career-oriented individual with a competitive drive and desire to work in Healthcare IT sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Experienced sales leader that has been accountable for over $5M+ annual quota
  • Demonstrated sales track record in highly competitive environments with the ability to qualify opportunities, obtain customer commitments, and negotiate and close contracts
  • Generating revenue in assigned accounts and territories by engaging directly with prospects in the field
  • Direct selling responsibility for large, complex 6- and 7-figure deals.
  • Proven experience managing a complex sales cycle and selling to multiple levels within mid-sized and large enterprise organizations
  • Develop and manage account and territory plans and pipeline development strategies to meet or exceed quarterly and annual bookings targets
  • Proven relationship management skills with healthcare payer executives (C-level) and other stakeholders across the assigned accounts and territory to drive new business opportunities for the company
  • Ability to understand the business challenges our prospects and clients are facing and aligning these challenges to the capabilities of our products and services


Essential Education, Experience and Interests:

  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred
  • Proven track record in achieving and exceeding annual quota
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working for healthcare analytics software company is preferred, but not required
  • High motivation, a desire to win, and a desire to work for a winning organization
  • Adaptable to change in a fast-growing company
  • Passionate about healthcare
