- Develop strategies for evaluating complex risk in business-centric ways.
- Build scalable processes that allow business flexibility and freedom to move quickly.
- Support compliance with applicable U.S. and international laws and regulations, collaborating with colleagues in finance and operations.
- Continuously research and master the latest legal frameworks from regulatory bodies across the globe.
- Advise various business teams on complex legal topics.
Experience
- License to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction or equivalent in the Republic of Ireland or the UK.
- 4 years at top law firm or 3 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).
- Excellent problem-solving, judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and act decisively.
- Capability to take ownership of projects and turn legal analysis into action.
- Prior experience with, detailed knowledge of, and passion for blockchain technology.
- Ability to present complex compliance and regulatory issues clearly and concisely.
- Experience counseling non-lawyer clients in the blockchain or consumer technology industry.
- Familiarity with legal regimes impacting the decentralized finance industry and experience with open-source software licensing.
