Sales Development Representative

• Work across Newsela’s Sales organization to support growth by researching, prospecting via calls and emails, and qualifying leads to build pipeline for Sales Reps.
• Respond to inbound inquiries and perform proactive cold outreach to potential new customers.
• Provide online product demonstrations to prospects, leading to initial discovery calls and identifying key needs for qualified sales opportunities.

• 1+ year of lead generation or inside sales experience.
• Experience in pipeline generation through emails and phone conversations leading to qualified meetings.
• Experience with Salesforce.com and sales process training to manage a pipeline effectively.
• Familiarity with sales platforms such as Salesloft, Outreach.io, or Yesware.
• Excellent communication skills to empathize with buyer challenges.
• Ability to establish clear value propositions connecting needs to products/services.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with creativity in team collaboration.

Pay range: $55K - $80K
