Senior Manager, Quantitative Market Data

- Define data-quality & benchmark strategy, set vision, KPIs, and roadmaps for price feeds and streams, including explicit data-quality SLOs.
- Guide quants in designing, stress-testing, and deploying benchmarks and pricing methodologies for multiple asset classes.
- Establish risk tolerances, oversee 24/7 monitoring infrastructure and drive playbooks for real-time data risk.
- Design efficient ingestion/normalization architectures and provider configurations to optimize cost/performance.
- Recruit, coach, and develop quants, data-quality engineers/managers, and Data Scientists.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, Finance, and Legal to launch new data products and enforce data-contract rigor.
- Engage with leading exchanges, data vendors, and DeFi protocols to advance industry standards for on-chain market-data quality and benchmarking.
Experience
- 10+ years in financial engineering, quantitative research, or market-data product leadership, with ≥4 years managing multi-disciplinary teams.
- Deep knowledge of market-data infrastructure, market microstructure, and asset-pricing/benchmark design.
- Proven track record shipping production-grade pricing, benchmarking, or data-risk systems.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python (or similar), SQL, and statistical analysis.
- Demonstrated success partnering with Tier-1 data vendors/exchanges on technical integrations.
- Experience running 24/7 or follow-the-sun data-risk or trading-ops programs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Passion for blockchain, DeFi, and verifiable computation.
