Strategic Account Executive

• Building relationships with key decision makers at the district level and selling Newsela’s products.
• Employing solution-based selling techniques and solution mapping.
• Creating and maintaining a sales pipeline and strategic account plans.
• Designing lead generation campaigns and managing sales through the sales lifecycle.
• Meeting in-person with school and district leaders for presentations and negotiations.
• Understanding the territory's funding, state initiatives, and K-12 education landscape.
• Being part of a regional sales team and representing Newsela in the market.
• Interacting with executive leadership for deal strategies and market trends.
• Managing priorities independently and exercising discretion on significant matters.

• Proven Account Executive with 2+ years of success selling supplemental products to school districts in the K12 market.
• Experience in networking, prospecting, and building a pipeline.
• Well-versed in MEDDPICC sales methodology.
• Proven success in forecasting business in the EdTech industry.
• Willingness to travel regularly to meet customers and prospects.

Pay range: $90K - $105K
