Tax Analyst - North America

• Prepare and submit all reports connected with Remote VAT, Sales and Use Tax obligations in US and Canada
• Ensure accuracy of ERP data by performing controls to detect inaccuracies and liaising with accounts payable and accounts receivable teams to review transactions and make necessary corrections
• Analyze invoices to ensure compliance with local tax law and request corrections if necessary
• Support the team before public entities such as Tax and Statistical authorities
• Follow up, maintenance, review and reconciliation of tax accounts
• Prepare and file VAT and Sales and Use Tax claims
• Assist with preparation and filing of tax registrations worldwide
• Conduct ad hoc research and projects including expansion into new countries and Sales/Use Tax treatment of new operations
• Monitor changes in tax law in several jurisdictions
• Support tax advisors with preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly US Direct tax filings to ensure compliance with state, federal, and international tax legislations

• Experience working in a Tax department, particularly in a big 4 environment focused on tax and reporting
• SAP experience is a plus
• Bachelor’s or master degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, Management or similar
• Being a chartered accountant (ACA, ACCA, CTA, CPA or similar) will be highly valued
• Team-player driven by excellence with good organizational skills and attention to detail

• Fluent in English writing and speaking
• Experience working remotely is a plus
