VAT Tax Manager

- Work with our VAT Lead to develop and execute Anrok's global indirect tax strategy across multiple jurisdictions
- Manage and scale end-to-end indirect tax compliance, including registration, filing, and remittance, in conjunction with the Tax Operations team.
- Work with the product team(s) to implement scalable tax processes to support Anrok’s rapid business growth.
- Collaborate with external tax advisors in various time zones and maintain relationships with tax authorities.
- Help to support analysis and direction for ad hoc projects related to international indirect taxes.
Experience
- 4+ years of experience in international indirect tax, including researching technical issues as well as the registration and returns processes for US companies entering into global markets.
- Experience with international SaaS and physical goods transactions, including return filings, voluntary disclosures, and invoicing.
- Enjoy engaging with customers and walking them through tax technical processes in a clear and thoughtful manner
- Strong problem-solving skills and a drive for change and improvement
- Entrepreneurial attitude and passion for building a business
- Strong written and verbal skills with a solutions-oriented approach
