Public Affairs Manager, Minneapolis

• Engage with external stakeholders to enhance public safety in communities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to engage with local elected officials, grassroots/grasstops organizations, and community leaders.
• Represent Flock Safety externally, including speaking at city council meetings.
• Build credibility across a variety of stakeholder audiences and develop meaningful partnerships.
• Elevate the voices of our customers to advance strategic policy objectives.

• Previous experience in the tech industry is preferred.
• Direct experience engaging with public affairs audiences at the local executive level.
• Ability to thrive and get results in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
• Self-starter; intrinsically motivated with a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Ability to travel on short notice and willingness to work long hours for city council meetings.
• Clear communication skills on complex topics.
• Sophisticated understanding of the regional political landscape at city and county level.
• Ability to work in a bipartisan landscape and think creatively about political coalition building.
• Public policy, business, or relevant degree/experience.
• Experience managing relationships with influential community groups/organizations.
• Preexisting network of relationships in the region is a strong plus.

Pay range: $130K - $170K
