Our referral partner is seeking an experienced English Copy Editor to support high-quality written content across a range of AI training initiatives. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented language professional who can ensure clarity, consistency, grammatical precision, and stylistic excellence across complex written materials.

They are looking for someone who demonstrates exceptional command of English, strong editorial judgment, and a meticulous eye for detail. This role requires consistent engagement and reliability over time.

5+ years of proven professional experience in copy editing, proofreading, journalism, publishing, technical editing, or a related field

• Exceptional written and grammatical command of English (native or near-native proficiency required)
• Demonstrated history of high-precision editorial work with minimal error rates
• Extremely high attention to detail and ability to catch subtle inconsistencies
• Strong familiarity with style guides (e.g., Chicago, AP, MLA, or equivalent)
• Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent quality standards
• Reliable availability and consistent engagement

$50-$60/hr

• Minimum commitment: 20 hours per week
