Proficient in a test automation language such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Kotlin with mobile automation libraries
Hands-on experience with mobile testing frameworks/tools such as Maestro, Appium, Detox, Espresso, or XCTest
Proven experience building and maintaining UI automation test suites for mobile apps, with understanding of platform-specific nuances
Experienced in mobile app deployment with a strong understanding of iOS & Android release processes, including App Store Connect, Google Play Console, platform review guidelines, release trains, OTA updates (e.g., Expo), and overall mobile release cycles.
Familiarity with Agile development cycles and continuous testing practices for mobile environments
Comfortable with QA processes including bug tracking, documentation, and manual exploratory testing of mobile apps
Experience testing across a diverse set of devices, screen sizes, and operating systems
A creative, detail-oriented mindset with a passion for breaking things on mobile to make them better
