Head of Design, Unified Service Platform

• Lead, coach, and grow a team of three designers managing their development and performance.
• Own design direction and quality across the Unified Service Platform (USP).
• Stay hands-on with high-leverage design work, reducing hands-on time as the team grows.
• Represent design on the USP quartet, co-leading product direction with cross-functional leaders.
• Set the standard for AI-native service design, managing trust, uncertainty, and AI-human handoffs.
• Guide service design end-to-end through journey mapping, blueprinting, and operational handoffs.
• Champion AI-native design practices within the team, utilizing AI-native tools.
• Partner on hiring and team building as the team grows.

• Experience managing and growing product designers and building healthy team culture.
• Design leadership in ambiguous contexts, setting direction and high craft standards.
• AI-product judgment, having shipped AI-mediated experiences that address uncertainty and human override.
• Service design depth with real journey mapping and blueprinting on two-sided products.
• Hands-on AI fluency, using AI-native tools to enhance design work.
• 12+ years of design experience, including 5+ years managing designers, with experience in a B2B SaaS environment.

Pay range: $204K - $280K

• Competitive base pay, benefits, and equity (RSUs).
