Commercial Counsel

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including agreements with health plans, health systems, and vendors.
• Help structure complex deals with multiple components.
• Act as a thought partner to various teams, contributing to legal and business aspects.
• Build processes and improve contracting efficiency through technology.
• Review and update contract templates based on legal developments.
• Provide legal counsel on contractual obligations and risk mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies in contracts.
• Collaborate with internal teams for effective vendor contract management.
• Develop and implement contract templates and best practices.
• Manage processes and tools related to contracts.
• Support corporate transactions as they arise.
• Train stakeholders on contract-related legal risks.
• Opportunities to work in other legal areas such as intellectual property and privacy.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a top tier law school
• Admission to the state bar in which you reside
• 4-6+ years of legal experience, including in transactional legal areas
• Healthcare experience preferred
• Stellar contract drafting skills

Pay range: $190K - $220K
